Manufacturing & Project engineer

  • Supporting production engineers by analyzing monthly-quarterly data of sales order portfolio (order book) and forecast figures.
  • Daily follow up with project management order book status. 
  • Communicating and interfacing with different world regions about the manufacturing status of sales orders from beginning to end process flow, including shipping status.
  • Supporting production engineers by preparing detailed planning for relevant projects and completion of the defined milestones. 
  • Supporting production engineers to interface with suppliers and service areas of supply chain for completion of a defined planning.
  • Analysis of production work orders and production reports.
  • Analysis of cycle times within production work orders (real vs. planned).
  • Support keeping track of Key Process Indicators and follow-up of defined action plans (Quality, Cost and Delivery).
  • Implement user friendly solutions to production users by mapping processes and implementing with IT easy friendly solutions in SAP or ERP.
  • Implementation at production of ideal work centers at production.   
  • Conducting investigation analysis along with management for systemic stock issues such as: lack of materials, min. Stock requirements on bulk  materials.  
  • Supporting production engineers for implementation of lean manufacturing projects (5s, Andon, Bottleneck analysis, Gemba, Root Cause Analyisis, OEE, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Industrial Engineering or Business Admin. Degree or equivalent.
  • High level in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus and ability to cooperate with the different departments.
  • Team working approach, good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of self-motivation, flexibility and self-learning aptitude.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Gantt tool.

  • Mid-level knowledge of office tools.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous and dedicated team player.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and achieve milestones and deliverables.
